Pride 2027

Nathi’s message to the LGBTIQ+ Community is:

“As a Black queer man living in Cape Town, I know how powerful it is to live openly and unapologetically in your truth. My hope is that young Black queer people see themselves represented and understand that their dreams, identities and voices matter.

‘Loud in Every Colour’ reminds us that every colour in our rainbow has a purpose. Every identity, every voice and every lived experience deserves to be seen, heard and celebrated. Without even one of those colours, our rainbow is incomplete.

At a time when our rights and identities continue to be challenged, we must stand together, support one another and recognise that our differences are not our weakness, but our greatest strength.Our rainbow shines brightest when every colour is allowed to shine.

Being loud is not just about raising our voices. It is about ensuring that every voice has a place, that nobody is left behind and that we continue to carry one another forward.We are different. We are united. We are proud. And we are LOUD IN EVERY COLOUR.”
