#CPTPride2023 showcases events that represent our diverse community. The events include the Pride Party, Mr & Miss Cape Town Pride pageant, Divas Extravaganza, movie nights, book nights, poetry evenings, and for the first time, a 4-night Pride cruise aboard the luxurious Sinfonia, culminating in the Pride March and Pride Festival Mardi Gras on the 4 March 2023.
We are also deep into planning one of the most iconic #CPTPride events: The Pride Prom. It boasts the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra and Cape Town City’s most fabulous LGBTQIA+ musical talent.
While we host world-class events, Pride’s mission is clear: we provide a platform for the City’s LGBTIAQ+ community to:
• raise awareness of the community’s issues;
• facilitate campaigns that allow our people to live their lives on an equal footing;
• help our diverse community remain visible and represented.
