Come and join Cape Town’s Queer Birding Club for the second Pride Edition guided birding walk!

Experience nature within a space of celebrating the true colours of our feathers. Be the flamingo in a flock of pigeons!

Here’s a space where you can celebrate your queerness, find like-minded connections, learn about and experience nature and more particularly our feathered friends, and hopefully find that you can be yourself in a different kind of social setting.  Whether you’re an experienced birdwatcher, or just think 'that is a bird', anyone is welcome to join.

NOTE that Kirstenbosch entrance fees do apply! But the walk itself is free (with an optional/voluntary donation for the guide).

If you are a South African citizen or resident don’t forget to bring your ID for local rates.

Registration: Just message Wayne via WhatsApp on 082 967 1813.

Bring: Binoculars if you have, your camera if you are into photography, sunscreen, a hat, a jacket (all depending on Cape Town’s erratic weather).

Binoculars: We will provide a small number of spare binoculars for those who don’t have. There won’t be many so we will probably need to share.

After: For those who would like to join, we will go grab a coffee (or whatever you like) at the restaurant in the Garden after the walk.
